Hedge trimming

Given a few years of careful pruning, an overgrown hedge can be brought back under control and maintained from then on. It is however, always preferrable, especially with a formal hedge, to regularly prune so that the hedge stays healthy, functional and attractive. Hedging can be used for various purposes, from boundary definition to security (where thorny hedging such as pyracantha is used).
